Music Programs

Adult Chancel Choir
Our Chancel Choir sings traditional music in the 9 a.m. worship service on Sundays except during the summer. Dr. KuanFen Liu directs the Chancel Choir. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings at 7:30 p.m. in the choir room second floor of the Wesley Center. All interested persons are invited to attend choir rehearsal or to call the church office for further information.
The Chancel Choir goes on hiatus during the summer months of July and August. During this time the congregation sings the liturgical worship music usually provided by the choir and a variety of guest musicians (members and friends of the congregation) supply the anthem. It is a marvelous time of musical gifts, some stirring and some surprising!

Wesley Children's Choir
The Wesley Children's Choir is a children's choir for children pre-K through fifth grade. The group is led by Miriam Arichea and performs once a month at the 9 a.m. service during the school year. Rehearsals are Sundays mornings from 10-10:20 a.m. in the David Room (children's choir room) in the education building. The choir takes a break in July and August and resumes sometime in September.

Joyful Noise Bell Choir
The Joyful Noise Bell Choir is composed of older elementary and young youth and directed by Miriam Arichea and Dr. KuanFen Liu.  They rehearse Sundays from 10:30-11:30 a.m. in the David Room of the Education Building, and perform monthly in the traditional worship service, as well as on special worship occasions such as Christmas and Easter.  The handbell choir takes a break in July and August and resumes in September.

The Living Waters Band
The Living Waters Band is the name of the praise band that leads the music for our Sunday 11:00 a.m. contemporary worship service.  The band is led by the very talented Scott Spindell and performs a variety of music from blues and blue grass, folk and rock, to gospel and contemporary praise music.  The eclectic music makes for a more modern worship opportunity.  New musicians are always welcomed -- just talk to Scott

Channel Islands Chamber Orchestra (CHICO)
CHICO, under the direction of Dr. KuanFen Liu, presents a wide range of music from classical to modern in a four-concert per year series. It provides local professional musicians a venue to play for local audiences.
